As most of you know Adalyn is going through this phase of LOVING Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! Minnie is her favorite, so that is what she as for Halloween. Well, since she wasn't feeling to great on Halloween and we didn't get good pics of her in her costume, we had Kristi take some. Since Adalyn dresses up in her Minnie outfit all of the time at home, which is so stinkin' cute!!

I decided to take my brother, Eric to have his pictures done for my mom for her birthday. Eric hasn't had pictures done forever, so I thought this would be a GREAT gift for mom. As usual, Kristi, our photographer, did a FABULOUS job!! We also did a few "sibling" shots that I thought would cause a few tears in mom along with a family picture. They are great!

A couple of weeks ago Jason and I were fortunate enough to have an evening out with our friends, without Little Miss tagging along!! Katie and Jeff invited Jason and myself, along with Amber and Sasan to the Ronald McDonald Charity event held at the Columbia Club downtown. It was SO nice to get away for a night to hang out with friends, have a FEW drinks, and get to dress up!! Thanks so much for the GREAT evening guys!! We love ya!!

Well, since Adalyn has had the stomach bug and an pneumonia, Halloween this year wasn't as exciting as I had hoped. Adalyn was able to get into the doctor first thing on Friday morning and get a Penicillin shot since she was unable to keep the oral medicaiton down and the doctor said that if she wasn't running a fever and since it was going to be a very nice Halloween night, we could get her out for a little while. She was VERY excited to get dressed up in her Minnie costume, which I was glad to see since she had been feeling so poorly. We only made a few stops, Mimi & Papaw's, Grandma & Grandpa's, and then to see Mawmaw. At grandma and grandpa's she was feeling ok, so we decided to take her to a few houses to Trick-or-Treat. We have been working so hard on teaching her how to say Trick-or-Treat and we hated for her not to be able to say it a few times. At our last house, she was starting to feel yucky and we Daddy and I told her to say Trick-or-Treat, she said, "No Way, Mommy!" The old guy thought that was great! Even though she was sick, she was still the cutes Minnie Mouse I have ever seen!!

Since Adalyn has been sick AGAIN, we have been having to stay inside and keep ourselves busy. Well, Adalyn has become quite the artist, as you can see. Thank goodness for Magic Erasers or our refrigerator would look scary!!

During the month of October Adalyn and I headed down to the Bean Supper with Mimi and Papaw-daddy was at home working on the barn. It was a beautiful day and after the bean supper we headed over to Catract State Park so Adalyn could run around and look at the Falls. She loved it!!

Several weeks ago we headed to Greendale Mulch to check out their pumpkin patch. Much to our surprise, we LOVED it!! It was not crowded, the hayride to the pumpkin patch was free, and most importantly Adalyn had a blast! Mimi and Papaw decided to go along with us. Once Adalyn got off the hayride she immediatly spotted the pumpkin she wanted. She was not happy until Papaw cut it off the vine for her. She carried that pumpkin around the entire time. She kep saying, "Oh Mommy, my pukin is heaby!" Too cute!! We all had a great time!
